Graham visited the Lion Salt Works to see the progress on the museum celebrating the area's heritage.
Graham said: “Salt is one of the key industries that Weaver Vale has been built on. I believe that it is incredibly important to recognise and celebrate our industrial heritage in Cheshire, which is why I was very pleased to visit Lion Salt Works, to see the restoration work in progress.
“Its reputation as a unique must-see attraction will develop over time and I very much look forward to the day when the Lion Salt Works opens to the public.
“There are also a host of major developments taking place in Northwich, which was listed again in The Sunday Times' Best Places to Live in Britain annual report last month. I am delighted that the Lion Salt Works will boost tourism to our part of Cheshire and will play an important part in the development of our town’s reputation”.
