Graham was very pleased to attend the Thanksgiving Service for the opening of the Mid Cheshire Foodbank at St Wilfrid’s Roman Catholic Church.
Graham said: “I am delighted to attend the launch of such a community spirited organisation. These are difficult times for many and the fact that the community has joined together in such a way is inspiring.
“The Foodbank will cover Northwich and the surrounding area and will supply emergency food parcels to people in crisis. People in need are referred to the Foodbank by key agencies working in the community such as CAB, charities, and housing associations. These agencies will hold a stock of Foodbank Vouchers which they complete and give to those in need. The person in need can then present the Foodbank Voucher to the Distribution Centre where they will be given 3 days worth of food (based on the size of their family).
