Graham Evans MP took a trip to view the Weaver Swing Bridge to see the progress that is being made to rebuild the bridge to restore infrastructure in Frodsham.
Graham said: “This was a great opportunity to see the hard work being done by Canal & River Trust. This issue of safe, reliable transport across the Weaver Navigation has never been more important. This £4.5 million investment will allow both traffic and pedestrians to move safely and quickly. I have been greatly impressed by the way that the project is progressing, including the successful use of the temporary bridge, and look forward to seeing the bridge return to its historic use, allowing transportation to connect Frodsham with the M56, Runcorn and beyond.”
