Warrington and Halton NHS Foundation Trust are currently working with NHS Merseyside to transfer ownership of the building. The plans have the support of the Government and the Halton Clinical Commissioning Group of local doctors.
Graham said: 'I am extremely pleased that a firm proposal has now been tabled to reopen the Treatment Centre, allowing the world-class facilities to be used for the benefit of local people.
“The previous Government's failure to negotiate sensible contract terms let down local patients and led to the closure of a state-of-the-art medical building, and I hope that the Centre is up and running as soon as possible.
“I will make sure that my constituents are kept fully up-to-date with any further news and developments.'
