Graham was pleased to welcome Sajjad Karim North West MEP to Northwich to meet some of the fantastic people and organisations that make Weaver Vale such a wonderful place to live.
Graham said: “This was a great day, working alongside Sajjad Karim MEP in Northwich.
“Visiting Sir John Deane’s College for a Q&A session was a great opportunity to discuss the how the roles as a MP and MEP vary, and the ways that we interact with the people we represent. It is always great to listen to the thoughts and questions of students and to get them engaged in politics. During the day we were shadowed by two pupils, Tom Ward and Emma Crosby, from Sir John Deane’s College which was a great way to show exactly what it is that politicians do.
“We visited Northwich Muslim Cultural Centre to celebrate their first year anniversary. It was a really important opportunity to meet with members of the local Muslim community to discuss issues which are important to them.
“I then held one of my regular meetings with representatives of the National Farmers Union to discuss rural issues and farming community matters.
“I was very pleased to welcome Sajjad to Northwich and I look forward to him visiting again soon.”
