Graham visited The Iron Bridge pub in Castle, to learn how investments have put it back into the heart of the community.
Graham celebrated the pub's one year anniversary following a major joint investment of £140,000 in September 2013.
Punch Partnership Development Manager Keith Roberts and landlady Julie took him on a tour of the premises before talking to him about the progress of the pub.
Graham said: “Local pubs are an important part of our community so the refurbishment of the Iron Bridge is a welcome development for the area and it is pleasing to see a pub doing well and thriving with local support.
"As many people will know, I am a strong supporter of local pubs and the important role they play in our communities. I am Vice Chair of the Beer All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), a qualifying member of the Save the Pub APPG, and have campaigned on a number of issues including the reduction of the beer duty escalator in the 2013 and 2014 Budgets.
“It’s great to see passionate operators like Julie at the heart of the town and the contribution the investment, with the creation of jobs and a welcoming meeting place, has made to Castle Northwich. I would like to wish Julie and the team all the best.”
